Sean Baker wants studios to return to a 90-day theatrical window, but that's not the reason audiences aren't going to the movies

At this week’s Critics Choice Awards, where director Sean Baker and the film Anora walked away with Best Picture, and after Baker won the DGA award he made a plea in his speeches to bring movies back to theaters. Specifically, during his DGA speech, Baker asked that studios return to a guaranteed 90-day theatrical window before a movie hits VOD or streaming.
