'Yellowstone': What's This Show's La Perla Budget?

Another week of Southern Fried Succession brought up snakes your bed, literally and figuratively

I keep trying to put myself into the mind of Cowboy Creator Daddy Taylor Sheridan and try to figure out how his mind works when it comes to this show. Last week, I presumed he felt omnipotent and god-like after sitting down to kill off the series’ leading man, John Dutton (Kevin Costner) in the most underwhelmingly “F you” moment. This week, I believe he sat down, poured himself a BIG glass of his Four Sixes whiskey, the whiskey made for cowboys that you can buy wherever you buy booze, and thought: How many more episodes do I have left? Five?!

At this point whatever yarn-strewn murder board he’s working with is so convoluted that he’s blindly grabbing threads and stapling them together, consistency be damned. So much so that I’ve had several people ask me, both in person and online, if the series is time jumping or not. It is, it’s just that Cowboy Creator Daddy gives no fucks as to whether you notice it or not. In fact, better if you don’t.
